Ashanti became famous as an 18-year-old and was signing with Murder Inc. Records in 2002. Ashanti made an appearance on the Fat Joe's What's Luv? Ja Rule's single, Always on Time and Fat Joe's What's luv? When she released"What's Luv which ranked at the second spot in the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and Foolish at the top spot featuring Foolish as her debut single, she became the only female to achieve this feat. The Declaration was the fourth Ashanti studio album, which was made available on the 3rd of June in 2008. The 16th of October Hey Baby (After the Club) was released on radio and digital outlets. The singer was as a character in the Christmas in the City film and also played Latasha as Latasha in Army Wives. Her song Rock wit U was sampled by British rapper Aitch to accompany his track Baby on March 10 2022.
